CedarVision
launched WildBlue Satellite Service with its first customer
installation on July 7, 2005. It was an exciting day for
the service as Barry Schloss of the Lewis & Clark Scout
Camp of Tabor (Yankton) SD, had access only to dial-up Internet
before surfing with WildBlue. The Boy Scout Camp’s
early impressions of the service have been very positive.
Soon after the service was installed, Ranger Barry Schloss
commented,
"Installation was quick and professional. It's great...
I've been stuck with dial-up service for so long that after
signing up with WildBlue from CedarVision it was like getting
a new computer.... Man it's fast! I've invited a few friends
over from the L & C Lake area to try it... I'm sure
most of them will be signed up soon!"
